The vessel's curved body is designed to capture and allow the aroma of IPAs to accumulate before reaching the nose.  "Ribs" create a ripple effect with every sip renewing and preserving a frothy head.

The flared lip on the glass allows the beer to pour right into the front of the tongue while the thick base on the glass maintains the coldness of the beer throughout your session.
